On April 17, 2025, the STA Board of Directors adopted the Connect 2035 sequencing timeline. STA is already beginning work on several initiatives for 2025 across all three Connect 2035 goals.
Highlights include:
- Launching an eligibility-based reduced fare program pilot for riders experiencing low incomes
- Investing in STA operators by upgrading break rooms and amenities
- Piloting a Safety Ambassador program
Finally, the September Service Change will introduce new routes 7, 93, and 722 to provide enhanced service to Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake.
